Welcome to Twist and Tumble!
A supportive community where kids learn confidence and the habits of self-improvement through the joy and difficulty of gymnastics
Our Values
Safety
Physical and emotional safety go hand-in-hand and safety is the number one priority at Twist and Tumble.
Exploration
At Twist and Tumble, we as coaches try new things, get curious, become comfortable with uncertainty, and see challenges as opportunities. We encourage children to do the same!
Friendship
Children learn how to be good friends in gymnastics by encouraging others, offering support, and understanding that we all have different talents and abilities.
Responsibility
We are responsible for the success of our classes and students, and children learn to be responsible for their actions, growth, and attitudes.
Growth
We are focused on growth for coaches and students. We believe in developing staff skills, and believe in teaching children a growth mindset, which is personal, positive, and different from achievement.
Joy
This is an environment that encourages joy! We believe in teaching through fun, getting silly, and doing what makes us smile.
Our Gym
Our gym is built just for smaller gymnasts, while also accommodating elementary aged gymnasts working bigger skills, such as round off backhandsprings on floor, kips and squat ons on bars, handsprings on vault, and cartwheels and back walkovers on beam. Our equipment collection is way more than you might see on the floor during one class or event, and our setup changes from week to week so that the gym always feels fresh. Our equipment includes a thirty-foot Tumbl Trak, 4 sets of junior bars, junior uneven parallel bars, a competition length beam, five practice beams, and room for tumbling and vaulting. We have mats of all shapes, sizes, and colors, and our entire gym area is covered in 2-inch-thick, specially made gymnastics flooring to absorb shock and protect against injury.
